Intermix started 2013 with a bang following its acquisition by Gap Inc., and its Boston storefront is doing the same with a design overhaul. The shop is temporarily moving from 186 Newbury to 160 Newbury while renovations take place in the original space. Though no one can currently get their Intermix fix, the retailer will reopen at the new location tomorrow, Wednesday, January 16.
As part of the move, Intemix will be offering a 50% discount on all sale items at the temporary store through Tuesday, January 22. That means Joie, rag & bone, and more will be at crazy low prices. The usual store is scheduled to open its freshly revamped doors come late April. Stay tuned as more details unfold!
