The Mall at Chestnut Hill Is Getting Back Its Mojo

Perhaps you remember the booming days of the Mall at Chestnut Hill...a time when Filene's anchored the building, the Chocolate Dipper offered up sweet treats, and Apple had not yet made a comeback. After a bit of a rough patch with vacating stores, we are titillated to see such fresh additions to the aging mall in recent years, including upgrades like Bloomingdale's and Neiman's sprightly little sister, The Cusp, not to mention this month's arrival Lush Cosmetics.

As the nearby Atrium Mall clears out, J.Crew has found itself a new home at Chestnut Hill, which conveniently opens tomorrow in preparation for the holiday rush. Harboring a crewcuts department alongside men's and women's, the location is basically a one-stop shop for gift hunting.
