See Mario Testino's 'In Your Face' Exhibit for Free This Weekend

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Since the first weekend of each month is free admission to the Museum of Fine Arts for Bank of America cardholders, our crystal ball reads that many of you will be exploring Mario Testino's exhibit "In Your Face" in the near to immediate future. Read: go this Saturday and Sunday, December 1 and 2.

In a teaser clip from StyleBoston, Eric Levin interviews the creative genius himself, further whetting our appetite for Testino's first U.S. retrospective. "If you make it look like a moment that didn't exist before, and couldn't exist any other time, it will be more magical," muses the Peruvian born photographer. Alongside the celebrities, Vogue spreads, and David Beckham, visitors can also delve into a piggyback exhibition, "British Royal Portraits," to see (you guessed it) Lady Di, ginger Harry, and Kate Middleton.

Episode 406: Plugged In | Mario Testino from styleboston on Vimeo.

The main event will run until February, 3, 2013, and the royals are on view through June 16, 2013. Has anything so glamorous ever descended upon our city? This is essentially Boston's version of McQueen at the Met, so you definitely don't want to miss it.
