If you're itching for some extracurricular stimulation beyond your cubical, or even considering a step into the creative arts, then this weekend's "Make a Ring" course at the Boston Center for Adult Education (BCAE) might fit the bill. At $150 a seat to this four hour long workshop on Saturday, students can walk out with brag worthy self-made bling, the prototype of their joaillerie dreams, or a unique gift for someone special.

The Bay Village based BCAE is no stranger to the sartorially oriented crafts, having hosted numerous sewing classes for future Lagerfelds, digital photography basics (hello, street style bloggers!), and even fashion writing workshops for bloggers and retailers alike.

"Make a Ring" will be held from 4 pm to 8 pm in Jamaica Plain on Saturday, November 10. Tuition: $150 (+ additional $5 materials fee). 24 Porter Street, Jamaica Plain, MA 02130; Reach the BCAE at (617) 267-4430. Register here.
