Budget-savvy stylish living is the name of the game over at Boston-based Shoestring Magazine, so naturally DIY is in their bag of tricks. Enter DIY Boston, the hub for Boston.com's iterations of all those crafty little things we devour on Pinterest. Editors Melissa Massello and Tara Belucci join their pinking shear powers with blogger Marisa Lynch of New Dress A Day—who also just published a book of the same name—to kick off their DIY Boston Night series this Saturday filled with contests, photobooth pics, local yummies, and the main event itself... BYO-DIY/upcycled clothing project!
The event will be held Saturday, November 10, from 6-9 pm at 40 Berkeley Street, Boston, MA 02118. Buy the book at the event (or pick it up at Barnes & Noble) to have the author sign your copy. Register here.
