Hailing from Portland, Oregon, outerwear specialist NAU set up shop on lower Newbury Street back in November to introduce itself intimately to Boston, its east coast latitudinal counterpart. If you haven't stopped in to the reworked Ed Hardy space—yes, quite the contrast—the pop-up shop is open daily (Mon—Sat 10am—7pm, Sun noon—6pm) until January 28, 2013.
The non-bulky, eco-friendly wears are exactly what we crave on an icky day like this one, but more specifically, we adore the holiday cheer they have doled out on the regular (read: waffles and mimosas last Sunday). Also featured in the seasonal boutique are items for the backpacker on your wishlist, such as outdoor cookware from Snow Peak. Satisfy the urban and backwoods adventurer in one shopping trip.
