Sneaker fiends and the amazing (patient) women who love them might have their eye on the second edition of New Balance x Ball and Buck US574 ($148), characterized by a mountain green body and the lifestyle retailer's signature camo. With a two-phase launch, and a late January ship date, these aren't exactly a gift you can put under the tree. So maybe print out the gorgeous promo shots as a placeholder? Although, you may jinx yourself by assuming a pair will actually make it into the shopping cart.

Either way, half of the 176 pairs will be up for grabs online at noon, Christmas Day, with the other half at the store on January 29, 2013. Collectors will appreciate a hand-stamped brass number plate indicating which shoe they received of the bunch. Both brands share a commitment to manufacturing in the USA, so consider this a patriotic purchase to carry the Americana obsessed guys into the new year.
