Dr. Martens Boston Grand Opening Scheduled for Thursday

Bring yourself wearing perfectly worn-in Docs, a wallet, and a holiday wishlist to Dr. Martens Newbury Street grand opening party this Thursday, December 6, from 6-8 pm. Appropriately so, there will be a performance by J Mascis, the singer-songwriter and guitarist of Amherst-bred alt rock band Dinosaur Jr.

The store, only a few weeks old, brings some much needed attitude to a corner of the shopping promenade otherwise defined by Niketown, Anthropologie, and a revolving door of tenants. Hopefully Dr. Martens anchors the building for many seasons to come.
