SOMERVILLE—This is big: chef Tony Maws of Craigie on Main in Central Square, only one of the biggest restaurant players in town, is expanding to Somerville. The new restaurant will be more casual, which means less expensive. Hooray!

BACK BAY—The highly anticipated, tasting-menu only Asta opened in Back Bay on Monday. Here's a quick primer.
