Let's Hear It for Some of Boston's Best Dressed

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

As we prepare to indulge in many "best dressed" lists throughout awards season, we are giving props to some of the snazziest Bostonians around, thanks to our Year in Racked 2012 survey. Here's who stole the show last year...

Doris Yaffe and Kristen of The Boston Fashionista

Q: Who was the best dressed Bostonian of the last year?

Lisa Pierpont, BOLDFACERS founder: It's a dude, but I think Ricardo Rodriguez kills it every day.

Renata Certo-Ware, Scorpion Disco and freelance fashion writer/stylist: Lots of my blogger buddies: Particularly Kristin U of The Boston Fashionista, Kara Weymouth of Bostonista, and Lani of Mon Petit Chou Chou. Oh, and my husband. I just love his euro-chic style.

Liana Krupp, communications consultant and New Brahmin founder: My friend, Koren Phillips (co-chair of the Boston Ballet's Young Partners). Carina Donoso. Dani Kupsc. My mother-in-law, Lizbeth. Braun Duggan (aka DJ Braun Draper of The Bladerunners). They all have different, very loosely defined styles that are very Boston in their execution—smart purchases, well-thought execution and killer accessories.

Christina Pierce, Christina K. Pierce Boutique Fashion Agency owner: For men, I'm going to say my husband, Ryan. He perfectly blends classic with trendy, never looks ridiculous but always looks "current." He can mix prints like it's his job and has a solid men's following regarding his style.

Lani Zervas, Mon Petit Chou Chou blogger: Elisha Daniels. She is always polished but has great fun with what she wears. And Sean Donovan of @BostonMo. His taste is 'New England' modern and impeccable.

Heather White, Lifestyle Marketing at PLNDR: Doris Yaffe. I was lucky to spend some time with her this summer and was constantly upstaged by her always on-point fashion choices—be it afternoon tea or a night on the town. Doris parties, and I love her for that.
