L.L.Bean Rides Into Boston-Area Schools With the Bootmobile

L.L.Bean just kicked off its "Wintervention" college tour, driving its Bootmobile into the Boston area tomorrow and Thursday. Should you have any qualms about staying active outdoors this winter, the Maine brand hopes to encourage you otherwise. The historic outfitter will introduce its merchandise to the university set at Tufts on October 16 and MIT on October 17, with giveaways for cold weather gear packages, discounts, a chilly photo backdrop, and a potential shopping spree for a winner and four friends. At Tufts, look for the Bean Boot Bootmobile on the upper patio at the Mayer Campus Center from 11am to 3pm; MIT should keep tabs on the Bootmobile at the student center plaza, also from 11am to 3pm.
