Duluth Trading Co., workwear and arguably flannel experts, recently conducted a "Department of Flannelytics" study to determine the ten "Most Flannel" locales in the country, as told by Google search data. Lo and behold, Boston ranks second on the list behind Seattle (not surprising as the 90s grunge look hails from the region). The study references our city's bagpiping, pipefitter, and professor crowds—but we'd argue it's truly Allston Rock City and Kendall Square tech startups holding it down in flannel. Either way, check out their infographic, conveniently highlighting plaids to complement every seasonal Boston sports team.
