SOUTH END—Tina Burgos, founder of Covet + Lou, will bring her uber cool vintage selection to SoWa Vintage Market this Sunday, November 17. In case you need a refresher on why this is an awesome reason to go to SoWa, read up on this new endeavor from the former owner of Stel's. [Racked Inbox]

BACK BAY/CHESTNUT HILL—It's a big weekend for Calypso St. Barth, having just opening a new store at The Street in Chestnut Hill, but also because this weekend is its Calypso Cares program. The retailer partnered with nonprofit Covenant House (serving homeless youth nationwide) to collect gently-worn sweaters in exchange for 20% off a new one through Sunday, November 17, at both the Back Bay and new Chestnut Hill stores. Tomorrow from noon to 3pm, join blogger/interior designer Erin Gates of Elements of Style at the Newbury Street store for a soiree commemorating the partnership. [Racked Inbox]
