On Friday, luxury retailer Intermix opened its second location in the Bay State at The Street in Chestnut Hill, with a 2000 square foot space brimming with goods from labels including Equipment, Ohne Titel, Helmut Lang, and Giuseppe Zanotti. Styled similarly to its sister store on Newbury Street, this new spot boasts gray stained wood flooring, lofty 15-foot ceilings, stainless steel fixtures, and wood tables. Sitting on a corner of the burgeoning suburban development, it's hard to miss the distinctive signage out front. Intermix is a nice counterpoint to fellow retailers Lululemon, Portobello Road, Calypso St. Barth, and Splendid, which is slated to open later this week.
