With Jay Z facing criticism of his collaboration with Barneys and Macy's (both under fire for alleged racial profiling), the team behind BNY SCC Gallery and Collection has canceled its launch event tomorrow in New York. WWD reports that when the collection launches in stores (Boston included) tomorrow, one hundred percent of sales will be donated to the Shawn Carter Foundation, providing educational opportunities for young people facing socioeconomic hardship.
