Easygoing Cali Line Splendid Touches Down in the Bay State

On its ten-year quest to design the perfect tee, Splendid has built a retail presence on both the West Coast with its Los Angeles home as well as the East Coast. This Friday, November 22, the contemporary brand is planning to unveil its first Boston area store at The Street in Chestnut Hill—1800 square feet of comfy basics and trend driven casuals wears for women, children, and babies.

Like its fellow stores nationwide, Splendid will play off its beachy roots in this new space, including a wall of live plants, natural wood fixtures, and even a daybed. But don't get your mind stuck on the dunes and waves, because when its doors open you'll see the Holiday 2013 collection on display. Better suited for our current climate, shoppers can browse cashmere, plaid, and some sparkle alongside Splendid's core offerings in vibrant colors and signature stripes.
