Tomorrow night the historic South End streets will be buzzing with holiday revelers for the fifth annual Holiday Stroll—and this year is planned to be bigger than ever. From 4pm to 8pm, more than 30 boutiques are welcoming shoppers with lovely libations and wallet-pleasing discounts, with neighborhood-wide free parking and a free trolley shuttling folks around the store circuit. Most markdowns fall into the 15% to 20% range, and any purchase at a participating store doles out a free desert at participating restaurants.
Here's your rundown on different promotions happening in the area:
Coco Baby: Peruse a selection of new baby toys.
Diseño: Take 30% to 50% off as part of the store's closing sale.
Farm & Fable: Enjoy cookie decorating for kids between 4pm and 5pm, with champagne and oysters for big kids (you) from 5pm to 6pm, as well as discounts on entertaining goods.
Flock: Take 30% to 50% off select items.
Gracie Finn: Get a free candle with any purchase over $100, plus receive a 10% off coupon to use in January, and an extra 5% off if you like the store on Facebook.
Hudson: Storewide discounts and French 75 cocktails.
Lekker: Two trunk shows are going down tomorrow, Shannon Reed's chefware and Annie Meyer's wooden kitchen utensils.
Mohr & McPherson: The holiday sale continues through December 15 storewide with 20% to 70% off.
Sault: Take 30% off apparel and bags.
South End Athletic Company: Join SEAC at 6:30pm for the physical part of "Jog and Nog," a four mile run followed by discounts at the store afterparty.
