HUB-WIDE—Boston has a solid showing among the newly announced semifinalists for the 2013 James Beard Foundation awards, aka "The Oscars of Food." Fourteen local chefs, restaurants and restaurateurs have made it thus far: see here for that list.
CAMBRIDGE—Food trucks are getting restaurants and restaurants are getting food trucks! BACK BAY—Ken Oringer flagship Clio has fired its executive chef after Douglas Rodrigues was arrested for stabbing a fellow patron at the Beacon Street bar Crossroads. While controversial regardless, it may have been an accident.
