The Boston-founded athletic giant City Sports is celebrating its 30th anniversary this month, with the pinnacle of its celebrations happening tomorrow in Chestnut Hill at the company's brand new spot in The Street complex—where the store has had its roots since 1996. A 9,200 square foot space boasts an in-store track and treadmill to test out more than 300 styles of footwear. It also contains a full-service racquet sport department (those suburbanites love their tennis), an updated women's pant wall, and an unparalleled selection of sports bras (gotta look out for the twins, right?).

Doors open at 10am tomorrow, March 16, and the first 100 folks to enter get a $10 store gift card. City Sports and Nike giveaways are going down while a 5k fun run takes place outside. A nice warm up for marathon runners, right? It's truly remarkable how the retailer built a business spanning the East Coast, making it an obvious choice for expert help on fitness shopping.
