The latest real estate developments from Curbed Boston...
BACK BAY—Boom! The 9,187-square-foot mansion at 130 Commonwealth Avenue has hit the rental market for $43,000 a month. Should it go for that, it would easily become Boston's priciest rental ever, breaking a record set just this month by 74 Beacon.
HUB-WIDE—Trend watch! Tons of condos are going for near or over asking throughout Greater Boston, including Unit 2 at 61 Chandler Street in the South End, which went for $126K over asking.
BACK BAY—The Ames-Webster Mansion at 306 Dartmouth Street has traded for $14,500,000. While it's used commercially now, the 26,000-square-foot, 50-room palace could go residential (seriously).
HUB-WIDE—Curbed University is still very much in session! Learn about investing in housing in the Hub or discover how to search property records.
