Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
Remember Block Shop Textiles, the company designing and importing hand-block printed scarves from India with operations in Cambridge and New York? An email announcement today reaffirms the availability of these in-demand accessories, mentioning that the small biz is now taking pre-orders for these silk-cotton blend works. Geometric patterns in relatively muted colors are extremely versatile for a $120 price point, especially when you know some of it is going to the village from which they originated. We are especially fond of the arrows print in coral (above). Orders will ship April 1.
