Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
You may not be dreaming of a Nantucket rendezvous yet—but soon enough the Bay State will be supremely stoked for Figawi, beach days, and all the island fun on this shingle-covered rock in the Atlantic. Though monograms may be deemed cool once again, here in sun-soaked prepdom they've always been in vogue. So of course, C. Wonder is poised for success in delivering its pop-up shop right to the heart of town for another summer season.
The 16 Federal Street space opens today, but will be holding off on its grand celebrations until the mercury rises. Perhaps these colorful basics lure you off the mainland before then? Psst: Ladies who lack transport to the island should take note of C. Wonder's additional pop-up in Hingham (which in our opinion, also warrants a South Shore beach day), scheduled to open on May 30.
