FORT POINT—It's official: the Mario Batali will be opening his first ever Boston restaurant, called Babbo Pizzeria e Enoteca, at 320 Summer Street. What's more, he's partnering with legendary New York City restaurateur Joe Bastianich.

MBTA—Okay, so maybe it wasn't a good idea to make an ad for a Big Mac that parodied mental illness. McDonald's has apologized for a recent controversial ad campaign on the T and taken the posters down.

BACK BAY—"Meet me at the Crossroads" is something that will only make sense to say in Boston until Monday. The Beacon Street pub closes then, just in time for thirsty marathoners to down one last pint or ten.
