Oribe's Dry Texturing Spray for Filthy Hair Days

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Today's pick is from Racked NY editor Tiffany Yanetta.

Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray, $39

I'm not one of those people who can pull off not washing their hair for days—mine gets gross and greasy fast, especially because I have side bangs that I've been trying to grow out for years. Since we start our days pretty early at Racked and I have a long commute into the office, my hair doesn't see the underside of a shower head as much as it should.

As an alternative, I've been using Oribe's Dry Texturizing Spray. It's kind of like a dry shampoo, but better, because instead of just making you hair not look filthy, it also adds extra volume (grease tends to fall pretty flat). It also smells spectacular and I can often be caught obnoxiously sniffing my own hair throughout the day.
