WWD reports that most Back Bay stores which were able to open on Saturday did in fact resume business—with the exceptions of Lord & Taylor and Talbots on the fringes of the crime scene. A Foot Locker salesperson notes that many people browsed at Watertown's Arsenal Mall on Saturday and a representative from the National Center for Risk and Economic Analysis of Terrorism Events suggest that stores should be able to recoup the majority of lost sales in the short-term.
