A 25 year sponsor relationship between adidas, the Boston Marathon, and the Boston Athletic Association cements the athletic outfitter's role in Boston sports history. As a tribute to last Monday's runners, victims, volunteers, and first responders, the brand has released a t-shirt with 100% of its profits going to The One Fund. WWD reports that adidas provided more than 8,500 BAA volunteers and over 3,500 members of the media and race officials with ubiquitous marathon jackets.
The men's and women's shirts are priced at $26.20 to signify the 26.2 mile long course and are sold on the BAA and adidas websites.
