The Leggings That'll Make You Forget Lululemon

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Today's pick comes from Racked LA editor Leslie Price.

Body Language scrunchy capri, $74 at Body Language

Despite what you might see at your local gym, yoga studio, or spin class, Lululemon isn't the only stretchy-pants game in town. I'm not infallible—I've invested in a few pairs—but scared off by the sheer butts in front of me at Pure Barre, I've been exploring other options and I think I've found the ultimate replacement.

The brand is (somewhat cheesily, I'll admit) named Body Language and is out of the Valley. I'd seen it on a few super-hot trainers and decided to make the drive to try it for myself. Now I'm a convert. Their scrunch capri leggings are fantastic, skintight without causing any squishage at the waist, soft but with enough strength to hold you in, and massively flattering for all the aforementioned reasons. It makes sense, then, that Body Language has a big celebrity following. An added bonus: They retail for less than Lulu, and not everyone has them (yet).
