Earlier today, the Boston Business Journal confirmed some rumors we've been hearing about a particular eyewear outfitter setting some roots in Boston. Later this week, Warby Parker will take its first foray into the offline world with a NYC store in Soho opening April 13—and fingers crossed that the supposed Back Bay location sets up shop soon.
For the uninitiated, Warby Parker has made quite a name for itself with philanthropic elements (they give a pair of glass for every pair bought) and on-trend frames (not to mention prescription lenses for the vision-challenged). It also dipped its toes in the Bay State dirty water with a traveling pop-up stop last year on the Class Trip tour of the country. Stay tuned as permanent details of this future showroom develop.
