SOMERVILLE—One of the year's most anticipated restaurant openings occurred on Wednesday when Bronwyn flung wide its gothic door to the people of Union Square. Here's a look inside, here's the menu, and here's how things went down on night one.

CAMBRIDGE—Rejoice, for the team from Kendall Square Southern-leaning darling Hungry Mother has officially declared plans for a second restaurant. It will be called State Park, and it will have fried chicken and pinball.

FINANCIAL DISTRICT—Boston has been without international steakhouse chain The Palm for a year and half. No more: the restaurant has moved and reopened at One International Place.
