Welcome to Weddings Week 2013, our week-long ode to nuptials in Boston.

Anyone planning a wedding in the internet era knows Style Me Pretty, the bridal blog empire (and "little black book" of vendors) built by Massachusetts resident and current editor, Abby Larson. Larson receives literally hundreds of magazine-worthy real weddings each week from all over the country and beyond—so she's seen how extravagant and how crafty different nuptials can be. With New England's woodsy escapes and waterfront paradise, we knew there would be some shockingly good celebrations in her archive and asked for her favorites. Here are Larson's picks from the classic, rustic, beach, preppy, and modern categories and why (just click each title for the whole gallery over on SMP).

CLASSIC
My heart sings for classic weddings. And this wedding took classic and brought it to an entirely new level of fabulous. With sweet details that really standout like their gorgeous floral filled aisle and a tablescape that makes our hearts pitter patter, when it comes to classic weddings this Liz Banfield is simply everything.

RUSTIC (Hey! It's Dani McDonald of Flock.)
One thing we can't get enough of in New England is gorgeous open fields and perfectly imperfect barns. They make for the coziest weddings. Just take this Vermont wedding captured by Jose Villa. And by incorporating beautiful touches like old wedding photographs lining the path to the reception and loads of wild hydrangea, a New England native, this wedding is the perfect example of East Coast rustic.

BEACH
Chatham Bars Inn is the quintessential Cape Cod venue. With sweeping shoreline views and coastal charm, weddings there have mastered New England elegance. We love how this wedding took beach and made it chic - by incorporating a muted color palette and using all white hydrangeas (a Cape Cod staple) throughout the entire soiree. The result? A seaside soiree captured by Stacey Hedman that defines beach chic.

PREPPY
Cape Cod and stripes go together like peanut butter and jelly. So does a good dose of prep. Add to that the classic New England vibe of Wequassett Resort mixed with waterviews for days and loads of color wrapped in gilded nautical rope, and we have ourselves one of our favorite preppy weddings to date captured by Stacy Hedman photography.

MODERN
We just about fell out of our chairs when we first laid eyes on these Newport nuptials at the stunning Belle Mer. The modern feel of this wedding is executed in such a stunning fashion – with pops of pink scattered about, a clean, crisp tablescape and too many fabulous details to list (rocks have never looked so chic!). We knew this was one for the books the moment we set sights on it, and Jen Huang's images of the day? Simply beyond.
