HUB-WIDE—Actor and stand-up comedian Eugene Mirman shares some of his favorite Boston food spots, including Toro and Craigie on Main, and reminisces about his time working at Toscanini's in the late 90s. He'll perform at the Wilbur Theater and The Sinclair later this month.

FENWAYTake a very rough peek inside what will become Mei Mei, the upcoming brick and mortar from the team behind the Mei Mei Street Kitchen food truck. They're currently running a Kickstarter campaign aimed at making the restaurant as environmentally friendly as possible.

SOUTH END—President Obama grabbed a cheeseburger from Charlie's Sandwich Shoppe while he was in town this week and apparently tipped $12 on the $8 burger. The toppings? Lettuce, tomato, and mustard (and a side of fries).
