The Herald investigates whether Whitey Bulger's trial wardrobe is the result of an intentional decision to garner sympathy. The mobster has donned a "grandfatherly" look, presumably to soften his image as cold-blooded killer. While unlikely to have any effect on the trial, it's interesting to hear the experts' take.
