Barry's Bootcamp Will Command You Into Shape This Fall

In the midst of hunting Boston's Hottest Trainer, big news from Los Angeles came up: Barry's Bootcamp will be opening its doors at 30 Chauncy Street in Downtown Crossing very soon. A celebrity favorite, the classes at Barry's are high energy and perfect for those people who have trouble putting down their cocktail to pick up a dumbbell (read: us). Expect to find the same tunes as you would at your local watering hole, not to mention, dimmed lights.

Boston Magazine reports that classes (ranging from "Butt & Legs" to "Chest & Back") will run $23-30 and that the space is the biggest in the California-based chain's empire: a 1700 square foot studio, a Fuel Bar for refreshing smoothies and recharging protein shakes, large locker rooms with spacious showers, and a spa-like atmosphere. Apparently the locker rooms will be stocked with Malin+Goetz products—talk about snazzy. Stay tuned to Barry's Bootcamp Boston on Facebook and Twitter for details on the opening, which seems to be scheduled for September.
