At the beginning of summer 2012, a sort of shopping landmark closed on Newbury Street, leaving a void in the indie boutique space for those seeking labels like Vanessa Bruno Athe, Leigh & Luca, Loeffler Randall, and Dannijo. The store was called Dress, and Boston's most stylish are buzzing with word that it will be reopening in Beacon Hill on September 3. The exact location is yet to be disclosed, but a visit to the retailer's website indicates a strong and familiar brand roster including Lulu Frost, Sea NY, MiH Jeans, and the designers above.
