Welcome to Racked Boston's Hottest Trainer 2013 competition. Over the coming weeks, we'll profile eight good looking candidates who work at local gyms and studios. Once you get to know everyone, we'll host a bracket-style showdown in which you get to vote for your favorite. Let the games begin!
From Southie beaches to Jamaica Pond, Jill Tomich has enticed Bostonians to picturesque parks for Ultimate Bootcamp workouts with an army of trainers behind her. As co-founder of the program, Jill brings 15 years of fitness expertise to these free-form, outdoor sessions—and she's come a long way from step, slide, and hi-lo aerobics. In the nine years since starting the Ultimate Bootcamp regimen, she has borrowed moves from kickboxing, Pilates, tai chi, and beyond for a calorie-torching 60 minute workout.
Jill is all about positive encouragement with her clients, even receiving feedback that her classes are "more inspiring than a Southern church service with a full choir and jazz band." Expect to find her on location with some canine company. Jill and her dog Ella often start the morning together with a green smoothie: "She's so freakin' cute with a green moustache!"
