Welcome to Racked Boston's Hottest Trainer 2013 competition. Over the coming weeks, we'll profile eight good looking candidates who work at local gyms and studios. Once you get to know everyone, we'll host a bracket-style showdown in which you get to vote for your favorite. Let the games begin!

Several weeks ago, we asked you to nominate the finest eye candy in Boston area gyms and from there, eight trainers stood apart from the rest. You've been checking out their bodies for well over a week, and today we are finally starting the first round of Hottest Trainer bracket-style voting. Each day for the next four days we will be matching up two contestants so you can select your favorites; winners will then go head-to-head in round two, and finally, those winners will battle in our champion round.

For our first face-off we've decided to focus on the two spinning instructors of the bunch, Jessica Bashelor of The Handle Bar and Christina Lodde of Recycle Studio.
