When it comes to obtaining Amsterdam cool—tailored and part-preppy, part-dapper urbanite—menswear brand Scotch & Soda sure has it covered. Boston has no shortage of European spirit, so it only makes sense that the Dutch label would open a store at the base of Newbury Street. Believe it or not, this sharp two-level space used to be home to a quirky J.P. Licks location, though from the redesign you would never have a clue. The brand continues to grow its standalone store count (currently at 94 according to its website), but the majority of its presence lies outside the US. Also available at the Newbury outpost: the company's women's line, Maison Scotch.
