Here's the latest restaurant news from Eater Boston.

DOWNTOWN—City Landing opened a year ago by the aquarium, and chef/owner Bill Brodsky chats with Eater Boston about how the first year has been. Previously, Brodsky was executive chef at Wequassett Resort on Cape Cod, which closed every winter, so he's now enjoying the opportunity to run a year-round business.
HUB-WIDE—It's time for the monthly Heatmap update, telling you where to eat right freaking now. New additions: Whisk at 351, a semi-permanent pop-up restaurant in the North End, and Gene's Chinese Flatbread Cafe, an expansion of a popular Chelmsford spot specializing in hand-pulled noodles.
CENTRAL SQUARE—For Camberville dumpling lovers who just can't bear to cross the river for a Chinatown visit, potentially good news from Central Square. Not only is Patty Chen's Dumpling Room opening up in the near future, but the other side of the square also appears to be getting a place called Dumpling House, which, one might assume, will hopefully specialize in dumplings.
NORTH END—Yet. Another. Froyo. Opening. Pinkberry opens a new Hanover St. location today. Coming up next: Somerville's Davis Square.
