From people on sidewalks to racks at Nordstrom Rack, it's clear Boston has a thing for Vince and those "everyday luxury essentials" the company puts out. The emerging lifestyle brand (already worth $500 million) continues to add new product categories and expand from its legacy of soft knits and draped basics—a growth tactic which also includes expanding its retail operations to accommodate complete product lines. While locally we can already shop the Vince boutique at Copley Square, WWD reports there are plans to scout more spaces (ideally in the 2500 to 3000 square foot range), including Newbury Street, just a stone's throw from the mall. Though Vince wants to "be eventually recognized as a true head-to-toe outfitter," there is no word on an expansion timeline due to an upcoming initial public offering.
