Welcome to Racked Boston's Hottest Trainer 2013 competition. Over the coming weeks, we'll profile eight good looking candidates who work at local gyms and studios. Once you get to know everyone, we'll host a bracket-style showdown in which you get to vote for your favorite. Let the games begin!
Oh, hey! It's our first male trainer on the list of Hottest Trainer candidates, Bron Volney. Bron spends his time at BSC in Government Center teaching UXF Burn and UXF Ripped classes, the latter of which involves high intensity workouts set around the personal record-beating—and in those sessions, Bron works out with you. Having been a trainer for four years, his style has become rather laid back, but don't be surprised if you're called out when slacking. The dude doesn't want you to waste your time or money. (Yup he's that thoughtful.)
Bron was working in physical therapy at Massachusetts General Hospital, but after reporting his bicycle stolen at a local police station he happened to pass BSC and a "Now Hiring" sign. Bron asserts that everything happens for a reason, and since then has been on the path to building his own brand, BronCoreFitness. How does one find success in the exercise world? "Sculpting your physique to where you want it, just like everything else in life, does not happen overnight. Also, don't make excuses; just get your butt into the gym, BOOM."
