If the earlier-setting sun hasn't alerted you to the start of fall, then the new Louis lookbooks certainly will. The luxury waterfront retailer hired photographer Bob Packert to shoot separate men's and women's collections, and in addition to the images, Packert also produced three video lookbooks with the help of Ian Travis Barnard. So what's highlighted from the department store? For ladies, there is a rather neutral palette with a metallic Roland Mouret frock, Haider Ackermann trousers, and a Peter Pilotto mixed-media dress breaking up otherwise dark layering pieces from Proenza Schouler, Jason Wu, Maison Ullens, and Louise Goldin. The guys are looking at soft plaids from designers like Mastai Ferretti, Malo, Finamore, and Belvest, with chunky knitwear and impeccable suiting. Watch the "Beats" video above to get a feel for the season.
