Your Guide to Owning 3.1 Phillip Lim for Target on Sunday Morning

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Target stores nationwide will be home to the 3.1 Phillip Lim collaboration this Sunday morning, and we're predicting it is going to be a biggie. Already, some merchandise has creeped its way onto eBay (yup) and many pieces are essentially reworked from the designer's main line. Let's discuss how to get your hands on the sweaters, bags, and every variation of those comic, floral, and leopard prints.

Where to Shop:
The collection—women's, men's, and accessories—will be at most Target locations. Here are three local stores just a hop, skip, and a jump from downtown to scope out.
Somerville: 180 Somerville Avenue. Lechmere (Green Line) to the 87 bus.
Dorchester: 7 Allstate Road. Walk from Andrew (Red Line) or take the 10 bus.
Watertown: 550 Arsenal Street. The 70 bus drops off right in front.
If getting out of bed early isn't a strong suit, try shopping online with these tips from Racked National.

When to Get There:
Doors open at normal Target hours, which for all of the stores above is 8am on Sunday, September 15. We doubt that there will be any trouble getting into the clothing department, but play it safe and arrive a bit early.

Know What You Want:
Walk in with some favorites and beeline for them. See the full collection here, and keep in mind that there is no women's footwear (the shoes pictured are from the main line), the bags are not real leather (though they are almost perfect replicas of the signature Pashli style), and that unlike other Target collabs, there are reportedly no purchase quantity restrictions. BOOM. There's a win!

How to Return:
Don't just snap up everything in sight before acquainting yourself with the special collaboration return policy. Racked National suggests: "Pay attention to your packing slip. If there is a specific-to-the-collab return policy, it can be found under the item on your receipt...Look for the words 'return by' date or 'return within' day range."
