It's no accident that City Sports is opening locations within a mile of existing stores—the aggressive growth is part the Boston-based sports outfitter's vision. In addition to last week's opening in the Financial District, just blocks from the retailer's Downtown Crossing space, they plans to open five more stores next year, primarily out of state but including one around Fenway.
