HUB-WIDE—Fall 2013 was completely packed with restaurant openings, but winter 2014 isn't looking too shabby. Here's a round-up of the exciting openings planned for this month and next, from Neapolitan pizza in Fort Point to a speakeasy-style cocktail bar in the South End.
HUB-WIDE—The quarterly update of the Eater 38 has launched. These are the 38 essential restaurants that you must try. New to the list: Bronwyn, Giulia, Menton, Sycamore, and Taiwan Cafe.
BACK BAY—Radius may be gone, but the burger lives on. Michael Schlow's legendary burger is making an appearance at Via Matta this month (for a fraction of its old price) at a burger and milkshake pop-up in the Enoteca.
HARVARD SQUARE—Mike's Pastry has been a North End landmark for nearly 70 years, and now, out of the blue, it's apparently expanding to Harvard Square. Hello, cannoli.
