Time for a Uniqlo update! The Boston Herald reported last week that the Japanese fast fashion retailer confirmed its plans to "open a couple of stores in the Boston market in the fall." However, CEO Larry Meyer is keeping mum on the specifics in spite of the fact that the store has appeared on lease plans for both the Mall at Chestnut Hill and a new, proposed two-story Quincy Market space at Faneuil Hall Marketplace. So while the where and when are yet to be announced, Boston can enter 2014 knowing it will be a new home to Uniqlo.
