Same as last year, we've tapped a handful of reputable fashion friends to weigh in on 2013's greatest hits (and misses). Next up: Favorite purchases.

What was your favorite purchase in 2013?

Kaitlin Madden, Lux & Concord blogger: This is where selfies come in handy. A quick peruse through my Instagram pictures tells me it's probably a black blazer with faux-leather sleeves I got from H&M a couple of months ago. Followed closely by a navy-and-black silk shirt dress from Equipment (which I got at Nordstrom Rack, score!), and short, whiskey-colored Frye boots. The company sent them to me when they celebrated the opening of their store on Newbury Street, so they're more of an "acquisition" than a purchase, but I had to include them because I've literally worn them 100 times since.

Christine Mitchell, N'East Style blogger: Black leather boots from Australian company R.M. Williams that I bought while on my honeymoon in London.

Aliston Tomisato, PR and Marketing for W Boston: A Ted Baker Bluburd Leather Bowling Handbag with a subtle chevron stitch pattern.

Jeff Lahens, DressCode Boston founder: I had one of my old wingtip boots resoled by Zen from Greenwich Vintage.

Brittany Fischer, Beauty Correspondent for Gloss48: My british shorthair kitten, Khaleesi.

Tina Burgos, Covet + Lou founder: Celine Trio purse in cobalt blue and my Gabriela Artigas cage cuff. Both exquisite.
