Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
Skip the last minute Valentine's Day scramble this year and head to the Boston Center for Adult Education this Sunday, February 9, for "Local Love," a pop-up market bringing together local makers of jewelry, small batch sweet treats, and candles. From 10am to 2pm, more than a dozen vendors will set up displays, making it crazy easy to tackle one-stop shopping for your honey.

Pre-order a bouquet from Pollen Floral Design, grab Newton-made hand-poured Vessel Candle Co. candles to set the mood next Friday, select a quirky card from Posh and Prep, and pick out a soundtrack from JP book and record shop Tres Gatos. We also like reworked vintage pieces from Adjewelry and fashion's favorite sustenance, French macarons from Boston's first truck of its genre, Cameo Macaron. Check out the full vendor list here.
