A pair of delightful home goods shops, Didriks and Local Root, will expand to the 'burbs this weekend, opening a 4,500 square foot showroom at The Mill at Newton Lower Falls. Embedded within 40,000 square feet of gallery space, also home to Gregorian Oriental Rugs, the shared showroom gives the sister boutiques an outpost to display their selection of furniture and kitchenware so beloved at their existing Observatory Hill storefronts in Cambridge throughout the last decade.
This Saturday, March 29, the new location will open to the public. Owner Jonathan Henke states, "We are excited to participate in the growth of the Mill at Newton Lower Falls and join the business community in Newton and Wellesley. This expansion will allow us to better serve customers in the Metro West area and provide more convenient access from the North and South Shores, with an expanded showroom to display our products."
