Those planning nuptials know how difficult it can be to sort through the bevy of vendors available, which is why a group of nearly twenty South End businesses have banded together for the first annual South End Wedding Showcase. For one night only (April 16, 4pm to 8pm) these vendors will open their doors to prospective bridal clients, offering a variety of barbershops and beauty salons (Tweed, Kent Newton Salon), paper goods (Goosefish Press, Lynn Graham Designs), jewelers (M. Flynn, Laura Preshong), and floral design (Marc Hall, Table & Tulip).

Custom headpieces at Galvinized Hats and bespoke gowns from Daniel Faucher Couture might also be of interest for brides seeking a unique look on their special day—and for the wedding after-party, L'Ecole Nuit delivers an upscale selection of European lingerie. Registration is free, as is parking at 560 Harrison Avenue and pedi-cab rides from shop to shop.
