Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
Arguably one of Boston's greatest summer traditions, SoWa Open Market is the perfect congregation of local makers, farmers market vendors, and food trucks. The weekly outdoor gathering is spread across various lots along the Harrison Avenue corridor in the South End, running from 10am to 4pm every Sunday through the end of October. The first 2014 session is officially on the calendar for May 4, and the team behind the marketplace says it will be the biggest yet. Expect to see 130 indie designers and artists, 30 food trucks, and 70 specialty food and farm vendors—maybe even a Racked street style photographer.
